PERFORMANCE PLUS The Importance of History “If you would understand anything, observe its beginning and its development.” -Aristotle
The
communication of your organization’s history is vital to its long term
success and development. History provides the framework for where you are
going. It solidifies the roots and communicates the original values and
visions of the company. A company’s vision may continue to evolve in order to meet the ever-changing demands of the consumer, but unless you help your employees understand and embody the beginnings of the company, they will always feel as if they are an outsider. Employee performance improves when organizations develop orientation programs designed to bring employees into the fullness of the company. As an Organizational Architect, Budnick through Jericho Consulting is dedicated to the strengthening of organizations by creating the right “blueprint” to meet their unique needs. Just like the building of a structure, every organization needs a blueprint to follow. And whether you a starting from scratch or doing a “re-model”, Jericho will work with your company to review the three critical components of your operation: Your People; Your Environment; and Your Product. With a blueprint designed for your company’s unique needs and organizational culture, you will have an organization which maximizes its strengths while managing its limitations. The first step in this process is to review the foundations of your organization, working to understand the values and virtues, mission and vision, as well as the company history. From there, a review of the support structure begins. A core belief of Jericho is that the entire organization is a support system for those delivering your products and services. The final step before creating the blueprint is to review those elements exposed to the outside world; the front line employee, the customer, the member, the patron, or who ever it may be. Through this process, Jericho has helped numerous organizations strengthen their team performance and maximize individual performance. If you want a blueprint for your organization, contact Joe today at jbudnick@jerichousa.com or call him at 763-464-3236. Company BackgroundThroughout our business experience, we have seen walls put up by employees and management which ultimately reduce the employees’ and corporate efficiency and/or productivity. These walls can take the form of communication barriers, inaccurate assumptions, closed mindedness, or any number of actions and attitudes. These walls can create conflicts within an organization and result in an environment where employees and management are not equipped to succeed and excel. With Jericho Consulting these walls can be removed and you will achieve extraordinary success in managing your workgroups.Biography Joe BudnickJoe Budnick is a proven leader with demonstrated profit achievement in retail, wholesale and marketing environments.
